Home Made Mosquito Repellant

Mosquitoes are very stubborn pest found almost everywhere in Nigeria. It causes malaria which is one of the most common sicknesses that Nigerians suffer.

Most people resort to the use of unhealthy insecticides to get rid of mosquitoes.  Why not try this natural mosquito repellant and see if it gives you the protection you need. The ingredients you will need are ingredients that are easy to find in your kitchen or in nearby stores.

Here are things you will need: 

A glass cup 

Ground coffee enough to almost fill up the glass container

Cloves

Candle wick 

Lighter

Preparation:

Simply pour the ground coffee into the glass container

Melt a candle and once melted, gently use a fork to remove the candle wick

Dig a hole in the center of the container and gently guide the candle wick through the hole making sure it gets to the base of the glass container

Fill up any empty space between around the candle wick with more coffee grounds

 Sprinkle some cloves over the top. 

light the candle wick and let the smell of coffee and cloves natural repel mosquitoes and any insect.

Note:  Coffee grounds have a strong smell which make it impossible for the mosquitoes to smell the presence of humans. We all know that mosquitoes feed on human blood.

Coffee also prevents baby mosquitoes from maturing to adult mosquitoes
