High Prolactin (Prolactinoma)

Symptoms of high Prolactin levels (prolactinnoma)
Irregular or absent menstruation
Inability to get pregnant
Milk discharge from breast
Acne
Discomfort during intercourse
Excess facial and body hair

How to treat Prolactinoma

The doctor may prescribe a drug called Carbergoline (Dostinex) or Bromocriptine (Parlodel).
Bromocriptine decreases the production of prolactin by bringing it down to a normal level, treats milk discharge from the nipples in non-nursing women and lack of menstrual period. When these are all resolved ovulation is triggered thereby increasing your chances of getting pregnant.
