Brighten Your Skin Before A Special Event - STEP 1

Our skin endures so much beating from harsh chemicals, sun exposure, aging, sudden weight loss, stress etc.

In Nigeria, some women spend a fortune on body creams that do nothing but bleach their skin.
When you start applying a bleaching product to your skin, it will certainly glow but after sometime your skin will start to look burnt. No matter what you do, it will take a long time to revive such chemical damaged skin.

But what happens if you have a very special event like a wedding coming up in a few days and you are ashamed of what you see in the mirror?

In utter desperation you browse through some beauty spas in an effort to book for an urgent facial treatment.

This is okay but it is going to cost you some money. The other outcome is that you might end up with a face looking worse that it did before your visit to the beauty spa.

What if you decide to go natural? This is always a safer method since applying more chemicals to fix a chemical damaged skin is not the best choice.

You can treat your skin in the comfort of your home and make it bright, supple and refreshed.

In this post, I will reveal the first step to achieve a brighter, healthier, fresher looking face.

STEP 1:

Facial Cleansing:

What you are going to do in this first step is to cleanse your face.

Wash your face as you would normally do with mild soap or face wash since you need to start this process with a clean face.

Once you have cleaned your face, you  will need an oil preferably Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

Why Coconut Oil?
Coconut oil has healing benefits. It is known to reduce skin inflammation. It moisturizes and helps heal wounds. It helps fight the signs of skin aging. It can help treat skin acne and due to its antimicrobial properties it can help protect the skin from bacterial infections.
Coconut oil does not leave your skin oily like most oils do. It is quickly absorbed into the skin.

If you noticed that your Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is hardened, simply use a spoon to scoop out the quantity you need into a glass bowl. Then place close to sunlight for sometimes. Let it melt naturally. I won't recommend heating it on fire as you will reduce its efficacy.

Lightly soak cotton balls with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and clean your face. Change the cotton balls as you clean your face in an upward motion.
Go all the way down to your neck and decolletage. Clean, clean clean.

Once you are satisfied that you have cleaned out all the dirts, move to the next step.
