How to create your Own ads.txt file for Adsense On Blogger

For Adsense publishers, you logged into your AdSense account and you saw a red highlighted message like this on your screen

EARNINGS AT RISK - ONE OR MORE OF YOUR SITES DOES NOT HAVE AN ADS.TXT FILE. FIX THIS NOW TO AVOID SEVERE IMPACT TO YOUR REVENUE.       Learn more


You need not worry. I will take you through the step by step guide on how to fix this.

Solution:

Click on ' learn more'

It will take you to the page 'Create your own ads.txt file for Adsense'

This will show you different steps to create an ads.txt file.

For this guide, all you need to do is select and copy the line


Then go to your Blogger dashboard

Scroll down to 'Settings'

Click on 'Search Preferences'

Go down to 'Monetization'


In 'Enable custom ads.txt content?'

Select 'Yes'

Paste the code you selected from your Adsense account in the empty box



Before you save replace zero's in this code with the numbers from your Adsense Account ID.

Click on 'Save changes'

Note that it will take about 24 hours for this settings to take effect.

 HOW TO GET YOUR ADSENSE ACCOUNT ID:
 In your Blogger dashboard
Scroll down to Earnings
Your account Id should be at the bottom of the earnings page


With a pen, carefully copy out your Account ID that begins with pub - -----------------
 That is your account ID.
